Celebrating 70 Years!

Willie T Perkins and Stafford L Battle were born on the same day and the same year in different hospitals. They lived on the same city block (12th and G ) in Washington, DC., and discovered this coincidence when they were kids playing in the ally behind their homes. A lifetime of friendship through joyous and difficult times is the result.

Rey O Harris and Stafford L Battle were part of the original cadre of "Black Geeks" on the Net. These were many Black "Futurists" who saw the benefits of a Digital World. Battle and Harris spoke around the country in prestigious venues as well as impromptu gatherings to promote smashing the Digital Divide. At the Library of Congress in 1996, Harris and Battle spoke to a packed house.
